Ipod battery. Only 1 hour?

Wow since you have a 60gb this is very unusual. My 30gb iPod gets about 3-5 hours when playing doom. About 15 when not doing anything and just in rockbox. Yours should be at about 18 hours.

gravedigg, the 60gb ipod will NOT get 18 hours in Rockbox.  It is probably closer to 8.

but 8 hours with rockbox or with apple firmware? And if it´s with rockbox, ¿how much with apple one?
Do you know if there is any progress in improve battery life?

I have video ipod. Do you know which is the capacity of the standard battery that comes with the ipod? It´s because i´m looking for batteries because maybe the problem is with the battery. I have seen batteries of 850mAh but i dont know if they are good or not or if they have more capacity than original ones. Someone knows anything about this?
