popping sound on playback begin w/crossfeed enabled (h120)
« on: December 21, 2006, 04:17:48 PM »
I get a brief popping sound (1/10 second perhaps?) when beginning a playlist if I have crossfeed enabled on my h120.  Switching between songs in the playlist doesn't seem to cause it.  It's more frequently in the right channel than in the left channel, although I've heard it in the left ear before.

Turning off crossfeed seems to stop it from happening.

Is there a question associated with this, or are you trying to report this as a bug?

I wasn't trying to report a bug -- I was reporting a bug.  Sorry if it was too subtle.  It's in Flyspray now.

Well, any post here qualifies as "trying, and failing, to report a bug" because this is not the proper place to do so. The ONLY place to report bugs is flyspray.

The forums are for verifying that it is a bug before reporting it, or seeing if other people have the problem in case you think it might be your hardware, or for asking if anyone knows how to resolve it if you think it's just setting related.

There isn't a question of subtlety, which is why I was asking if that was supposed to be a bug report.
