fonts not unzipping

I am in the middle of trying to reinstall rockbox on my 60gb iPod Video with the new installation procedures. I'm running OSX 10.4.8.

I'm on step 1b, and I unzipped the rockbox.zip file fine, but can't seem to unzip the rockbox-fonts.zip file.

I tried a few different methods for unzipping including stuffit expander, stuffit archive manager and BOMarchiveHelper. None of them seem to do the trick... Any suggestions?

Try Info-Zip, which gets also mentioned in the manual
http://www.info-zip.org/

If it still doesn't work your archive is broken, redownload it.

i just now figured out how to perform the windows fucntion "show all files" on OSX and instructions for that can be found here: http://www.osxfaq.com/DailyTips/02-2005/02-01.ws

what i tried in terms of extracting was to drag the rockbox-fonts.zip file onto the root of my ipod, double clicked it there and it extracted and made a folder called .rockbox 1 with a folder called fonts inside it. i then dragged the fonts folder to .rockbox and deleted the .rockbox 1 folder.

I'm not sure if this will work yet. let me know if i'm doing something stupid.
