install help

can anyone help me? i cant get past the install step that says

ipodpatcher [device] -r bootpartition.bin

i typed this exactly (no quotes) "ipodpatcher [disk1] -r bootpartition.bin

i get an error message saying "error opening disk: the system cannot find the specified file.

i know ipodpatcher detected my ipod since i did the "ipodpatcher --scan" and it said disk 1.

this is on a 5g video and windows

ohh, you are supposed to get rid of the [] also.
