Music on Rockbox help
Kagedmaniak:
Ok. I skimmed and looked through the manual, and i just installed rockbox, but how do i listen to the music that was already on my ipod. Like will i have to make a new folder on the .rockbox and put the music on there? Could someone please explain or link me or something please.
Llorean:
Try the Ipod FAQ in the wiki.
Kagedmaniak:
So i would just make a new folder on the ipod harddisk, like the example of D:\Music\Artist\Album\Track - Song.mp3? And how would i play them then. Also would i then delete the other music files (the regular ones with the f00 folders etc?
Llorean:
I was actually intending you to read the section labelled "How do I access music that I have transferred to my iPod using iTunes" because that was the original question you asked.
gravedigg154:
Ya all you have to do to access the Apple firmware(assuming this what you want to do) all you have to do is hold down menu and select until your iPod restarts. When it does let go of select and just hold menu. When the small writing comes up it should say "Loading original firmware". If it doesn't say that and just loads rockbox restart it a couple more times.
