That's the peak meter quite a lot of people mentioned earlier. Use a different theme. rockbox_default _has_ peak meters. Use e.g. iCatcher. Also,
- please read the FAQ, it's explained there
- when quoting other posters use the "quote" button (or insert the quotation tags yourself). It's really annoying to wonder about what's quoted and what not. Quoting is there for a reason ...

i have done what u told me to do now and i still have the problem i have done a formatation of the HDD and i only one song on the player and i have still the pauses

what shall i do here next?

PaulPosition:
Okay.

Make sure you :
1) Use a WPS *without* peak meters (the bars that go up and down) - This you said you did, just make sure to re-do it now that you formatted.
2) Use no more than TWO bands on the graphic equalizer (try not using it) - While everyone above told you to, you failed to answer whether you used it or not.
3) If you use 'database' (formerly known as 'tagcache'), make sure it finished refreshing and then reboot. - Else if it's still scanning in the background it *might* cause a bit of a slowdown.

Now you should have a mostly stable platform for testing and listening to music.

Thing is, as of yet, the second CPU core of the H10 (and other portalplayer devices) hasn't been figured out and using CPU intensive chores (like graphical EQ) tend to overload the one CPU that's actually working.

In time, it will play as good (or better!) as most other Rockbox ports.
