HELP PLSE!!! My iriver is dead :-(

If there is anyone out there that can help me i would REALLY apreciate it and i'll even put a good word in for you so santa brings you something special.

My problem is i installed rockbox to my H340 a while ago and i cant remember which version it was. I have been traveling all over world and have been enjoying listening to my music and downloading my pics to it but now ive just got home and tried to charge it as it went flat on my last flight home and when i plugged it in to charge it the screen was white and didnt say it was charging and when i tried to turn it on nothing happened. Im really upset and i also tried to connect it to my computer and nothing happened again. Does anyone have any idea what has happened and if i'll ever be able to use it again??

Try charging it for a while (a few hours) then poke the reset button.

Just leave it plugged in to the mains-powered charger (not USB) for 2-3 hours, then try again.

ive tried to leave on charge for bout 5 hours and it still doesnt work also i tried the reset button but nothing happened

i cant even turn it on! all i get is a flash of white when i push the power button

You said the screen was white, not that it flashed white and then went away. Please, describe carefully *exactly* what happens when you try to turn it on normally, what type of charger you used to charge it, and if it makes any noises when you try to turn it on (press your ear against it).

Sorry, ok the 1st time i tried to turn it on after i plugged in the proper "Iriver" charger nothing happened the after leavening it on charge for ages it was kinda on it was a glowing white screen with no noise. I tried to push reset and nothing happened  so I went to sleep and when i woke it the screen was black again tried to turn it on and the screen flashed white for a split second then went off. I just tried again now and nothing happened so i plugged it into power and got the same flash and nothing when i pushed reset suprise suprise nothing happened  
I still have it plugged in but nothing is happening and no noises

When you say "Nothing happened" from pressing reset, do you mean "The screen went black and then went back to being like it was" or do you mean "It did nothing at all"?

It does nothing at all when i press it.

So, if the screen is white and lit, it doesn't clear? If so, you aren't properly pressing the reset button, as it will cut power entirely while resetting.

As well, have you only used the official iRiver charger, or have you at any point used an unofficial charger?

the screen has just come up white again and no noise is coming from it and nothing happens when i push reset or the on button with a paper clip that easierly fits into the hole even if i hold it for 5 seconds. I only use the proper charger cause nothing else i use fits into it

And when it's charging, is there any evidence that it's actually charging? Does it react differently when you attempt to turn it on while charging?

Nope and nope no evidence of it charging so im only guessing that it is and it doesnt change state when i push the buttons even if i try to load with iriver firmware by pushing record and play
