Turn backlight off for clock

Hi.

Im customising the clock.c so it displays good on the nano. For some reason though, when it runs, the backlight wont turn off. It stays on permanently, it should fade out. It says the backlight turns off in the sim but it doesnt on the nano itself.

I want it to use the system set backlight.

Any help appreciated.

ps. Is there a forum section or wiki specifically on coding in rockbox? Ive seen the ultra basic one at http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/HowtoWritePlugins but I need more info. Cheers.

I have "always off" for the hold switch setting, and my clock backlight (5G video) stays on also, except when I flip hold on it goes out.  You could use this as a workaround in the meantime, and also maybe there's a clue in there to help you.  I don't know the code at all but I figured anything would help.

EDIT:

Scratch that.  There's a setting in the clock under "General Settings" for Backlight.  The options are "Off", "RB", and "On"  and ON is the default.

No fixing necessary.
