does not show up in mac osx anymore

i installed rockbox, it works, but now when my ipod is plugged in, it doesnt show up on the desktop or anything.  im assuming the directoried for the music need to be changed before those will work properly, because it shows the notes, contacts and calenders directories but i cant find any of my music.

any help with any of this?

Are you connecting with Firewire or USB?

Have you read the manual in regards to the "How do I play my music" question, because it sounds like you're experiencing the commong problem of "iTunes copied my music, and I don't know how to find it" which is covered in it.

firewire.  an yea, i figured it out.  for some reason it was not desplaying the directories where the music was (all those non-sense folders that itunes creates).  thats all i wanted...

but yea, it still wont mount.  



and how do i get the battery meter to be accurate?  im assuming i need to change that under the battery settings.

Try manually rebooting it into Disk Mode. Rockbox doesn't detect Firewire cable insertions, but you can still manually reboot to disk mode, and it'll work fine.
