issues installing

my friend hhas an ipod and hes freakin out cause he tried installing rockbox and it says partition error
he did everything hes supposed to he copied and pasted every command into the command bar and replaced n with the number need -everything he did
but it says it cant find partition and error -1
and when i tried uninstalling it it didnt work either- probably cause it cant find partiton
 he has an ipod 5g
please help- his ipod is not working

I'm guessing that it is actually a 5.5g, which is not yet Rockbox supported.  What is the size of the hard drive?  When did he buy it?

hey its the kid hu owns the ipod
im a lil less nerved bc i restored the ipod to its normal state
now that i re-instaled the ipod im trying the program again
idt i have ipod 5.5
not sure
how do i find out???¿¿¿

now that i reinstaled it, it now says

and its just frozen there................
