Headphone Insertion Crash
« on: December 12, 2006, 02:27:20 PM »
I run an Ipod 5g and have used several different builds with and without patches. And one consistent freezing problem that I've always noticed is that when I start rockbox, leave it running for a certain amount of time, insert my headphone/input cable, and then select a song... Rockbox will freeze.

The crash ALWAYS seems to occur when I follow this order (start>plugin>play).

Has anyone else had this problem, and is there any way to remedy it?

Bump. This is still a reoccurring problem with any new builds. The ipod just seems to have problems when it waits a few minutes and is then connected to my car auxillary cable.

No one else has ever had this problem?

This is easily reproduceable with a new official build?

I will verify this after using it for a few days, but it seems to happen regardless. It's intermittent, and not easy to reproduce to begin with.
