resetting all the options

How can i restore everything back to original rockbox settings? There is an option under system but this appears to do nothing. Even deleting .rockbox and installing a fresh copy still seems to have my settings retained.

I think on iPods you can clear your settings by booting with hold switch on.

Or [Menu]>Manage Settings>Reset Settings

I had tried the settings-reset option, but it didnt actually do anything ill i rebooted. All good now thanks.
