hey guys, thanks ahead of time for the help.

i am trying to install on my 5g 30gb ipod video. i just started it up and i am at the point in the tutorial where i am installing the firmware, right before unmounting the drive. i am in no way very familiar with script. i know a little from high school but im a sailor, not a computer engineer. anyway, here is wher eim at:

what the hell is the location of my player? it says where i found it before, but i dont know what the /dev/... means.

anyway, thanks again for the help. i hate to sound like a noob here, but i guess i am.

and i guess i should have just read further and not stopped in the mac installation part winc ei am installing with windows.
