Some problems compiling

<< < (4/4)

Phalangees:
no I did actually. I read most of it... but understanding it is a different story.  It's been my first tab open for a while.

So i don't acutally need to compile it to get the bootloader?? Sorry if i'm getting you pissed with my stupidity.

If there is an easier way to get rockbox on my Gigabeat please let me know.

Llorean:
Rockbox isn't officially on the gigabeat yet. If you can't follow the compiling instructions in the link I gave you, you're probably best not tinkering with a firwmare that doesn't even play music yet, and ought to wait until there's an official build available.

Soader03:
Question about that: Can we boot with the original firmware and then, boot with RockBox like the IPod? I know that we can do that with IPods like original firmware, then RockBox then IPod Linux...

ohhhhh. Sorry I thought it was done enough to be functional. I figured since it had instructions (on how to get rockbox on the gigabeat), on the Gigabeat Info page that I could install it and then just update it once in a while to get rid of bugs. Sorry for getting you angy. Thanks for your help.
