The lack of screenshots is puzzling =\
Yes, yes, it is. Perhaps you could post some.
Hehe, very nice way of turning it against me

Alright, first I download a new copy of ipodpatcher.exe, ipod˙fw.exe, and bootloader-4g.bin
Then I save it to C:\

iPod is restored via iTunes, so the firmware on it is fresh.
Next I bring up command prompt via start, run, cmd, then type in C:\ipodpatcher 2 , as per instructions
iPod is identified

Then I type in C:\ipodpatcher -r 2 bootpartition.bin , as per instructions

Then, C:\ipod_fw -o apple_os.bin -e 0 bootpartition.bin
No message, just a skip to next command line

Then, it's C:\ipod_fw -g 4g -o rockboot.bin -i apple_os.bin bootloader-4g.bin
An error comes up at the end

I continue on to C:\ipodpatcher -w N rockboot.bin anyway, assuming the error is intended

Then I exit by typing 'exit' into command line.
I then go on to download the latest daily build, 'rockbox-ipod4gray-20061211' then extract all to I:, the drive letter my iPod is assigned. I check the root directory and the files are in their place
Then I disconnect the iPod and immediately the apple splash comes up, before showing this

It stays like that, then a click from the HDD and the process starts again, apple splash then that. A restore using iTunes brings it back to normal
