I would like help making a theme (merged)

i have searched the forum and already tried making my own but i always fail. Does anyone know where a good tutorial is or someone that could teach me the basics?

I got some photos from when i was gonna edit my firmware with the ipod wizard thing. Anyways i have all of the photos here if someone could make a theme somehow with them.

Yes.

But if you browsed through the .rockbox folder on your player, you would see what files were required and where they are stored.

Alternatively, this page, which is linked from the beginning of the SimpleGuide I referred you to above, gives full details on file extension, location and constraints.

It's not because you have a great car that you can drive properly. In other words, having Phtoshop won't make you a great artist.

If creating a WPS from stratch is to difficult (which is understandable), try editing someone elses WPS. That way the basic code is there, you just have to change it around a bit. I believe there is already a theme in the WPS gallery that uses a IpodWizzard like style by Dan Manners. Download his theme, change the pictures in the code to be your chosen pictures, and you're done. I don't think you will find many people willing to make a WPS for you if you aren't willing to invest at least a little bit of time and effort into this yourself.
