apple ipod 3rd generation

don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but does anyone know the progress of the rockbox firmware on the 3rd generation ipod. Is it now detected as a harddrive so you can drag and drop, is the eq customizable, and lastly does it play back mp3 smoothly?

It doesn't play MP3 back smoothly.  You can drag and drop from within Apple firmware and disk mode, but not natively within Rockbox.  I've not tried the EQ, but I think it is customizable, though it will make playback skip more.
