Ive dl'd the rockbox for ipod video (latest and old) my win zip opens to install and then goes to a screen that has all these different files starting with language ones. Ive extracted all of them but still cant seem to use the program. I have never used rockbox and dont even know what Im looking for at this point however shouldnt there be and .exe file somewhere to run this rockbox stuff?? please helpl me with the install. thx. billy

A - please in the future only use full words (no "dl'd"), and try a little bit harder to punctuate properly.  Many people here don't speak English as their first language, and many others are blind and use screen readers.
B - Before using Rockbox we believe you should read the manual, learn something about it.
C - You don't appear to have installed the bootloader yet.  http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/IpodInstallation
D - .exe files are Windows executables.  Neither the Apple Firmware nor Rockbox is a Microsoft program, why would you expect your iPod to run Windows software?  Rockbox is a complete operating system.  You appear to be installing it onto your hardware (iPod) from Windows, but that is where the connection ends.
