no directory

hi......just recently joined this forum but had my ihp140 for 3-4 years ...never any probs etc etc .................thought i'd try rockbox
everything goes fine will the downloads etc but when booting up it says- no directory-incomplete installation ..............      have checked  the files on the iriver but cannot find .riverbox file or on  the downloaded zip file...
reckon the download of the zip file maybe the prob???...........cannot find anywhere that says you have to create this file yourself

If you're extracting the .zip on an OSX or Linux based computer, the .rockbox folder will be hidden, so you'll need to find a way to show it so that you may copy it over.

working on office pc ......have downloaded a few versions
.rockbox  file does not appear in any of the zip file folders.....
will wait til i get home and try it on my own machine at home
