who made the icatcher WPS i have a Q for you
Zivo:
i really like this wps its look good and its really comfort but
why in the play screen there number before every song name
i find it really not useful its not practic because i can see the number above (e.g 11/20) so how i disable it? from where it gets the number ?
another thing why if i just playing a file with no ID3 tags
why i see "UNKNOWN ......"
why cant you do something thats show the foldrs
or just leave it empty
all thos simple things make this really beautiful wps not designed
contact me or give answer
thanks

I'm not the creator of iCatcher, but I can answer some of your questions.
The number before the song name is the track number that is contained within the ID3 tag of the file, while the "11/20" numbers are for the playlist. The first number is the track's position in the playlist and the second is the number of tracks in the playlist. If you're just playing full albums, then the first number and the track number will usually match up, unless you have the tracks set to be randomized. You may also have playlists that are hundreds of tracks long that are a mix of tracks from many albums and then the numbers will almost never match up.
As for "UNKNOWN" being displayed for missing ID3 info, that's just how the designer made the WPS work. If you don't like that, you can always modify the WPS file yourself and have it display what you want.

I'm also not the original author but I want to add this:
Icatcher does show the parent directory name (one directory up in the tree) if the artist tag is missing, the current directory name (if the album tag is not present) and the filename instead of a missing title tag. "Unknown ..." only shows up if the file is either in the root directory of your device (then you get both "Unknown artist/album") or if it's in the first subfolder from the root ("Unknown artist" then).

Hi there,
First of all, I'm glad that you like the WPS. Now to your questions:

As Krellion mentioned, the number displayed before the song title is taken from the track number id3 tag. It's different from the "number above" that you say. That one is the playlist position. You can disable it by opening the .wps file with a text editor and change this line:
--- Code: ---%s%ac%?in - %?it
--- End code ---
to:
--- Code: ---%s%ac%?it
--- End code ---
--- Quote ---another thing why if i just playing a file with no ID3 tags

Actually, when there's no id3 tag information it uses the file or folder names. More specifically, when there's no id3 tag for the title, it shows the filename. When there's no id3 tag for the album name, it shows the name of the first directory from end of the file path (the directory that the song is into). Finally, when there's no id3 tag for the artist name, it shows the name of the second directory from end of the file path.
"Unknown Artist" and "Unknown Album" are displayed when there is no folder information (eg. when the file is located in the root)
If you still want to change that, again open the .wps file with a text editor and modify the text mentioned above to whatever you wish.
Hope that makes it clear for you
EDIT: It seems that I was a bit slow... :)
