I NEED HELP! ipod video

Im having trouble installing rockbox on my ipod video and Im going crazy:
after I did the part with the CMD and tried to put the files I downloaded from here from the daily builds (i dont really know whats the root folder of my ipod) I disconnect my ipod and it says I have to connect it to the itunes so I can restore it and i try reseting it but it doesent work...
please help me

i bought my ipod about 8 months ago

(I am israeli and I have some english problems so please try to explain in a simple way)

Anyway it sounds like you didn't complete the installation process.  Either restore your ipod, or try to install Rockbox again, taking care to follow the directions exactly.
