Help I deleted "root.m3u"

I deleted the file "root.m3u" thinking it would update when I restarted the player, but it doesn't.  Now I don't have this file at all, how do I get it back?

Um, that's just a playlist. If you remember which songs were contained in it you can easily make it again using your DAP or one of many media players on the computer.

It's a playlist, but it is a playlist of every song on the ipod.  I thought rockbox automatically generated it when the player is turned on.

Febs:
1.  Make sure you have the "Recursively insert directories" option turned on.

2.  From the root directory of your player, enter the Main Menu.  Select Playlist Options --> Create Playlist.
