crossfade capers
« on: December 01, 2006, 09:13:53 AM »
i'm seriously thinking of just using itunes for my playlist now!
even though crossfade play was working fine the other day,now it only works when i skip a track, and yes i have set the cross fade enable to always.fade in/out duration set to 10s ,and it simply does not work.
sadly if i can't reslove this simple issue,i'll have to drop rockbox, which will be sad as i do see it's potential.

Try this:

Create a config file (Menu > Manage Settings > Write .cfg file)
Reset settings (Menu > Manage Settings > Reset Settings)
Reboot the iPod
Load the settings file (Menu > Manage Settings > Browse .cfg files)

If I'm not mistaken, crossfade works preferrably with shuffle.  I have a 4G Grayscale and Nano 1st gen and both crossfades on both works perfectly.
