Some quick questions about the iPod & RockBox

Can I transfer the music to the ipod with itunes manually?

I am using the blackgrass theme - no music info shows up on the ipod, no album art work either...

I don't know what you mean by "with itunes manually."  But you can transfer music to your Rockboxed player either with iTunes or via good old drag-and-drop.  If you use iTunes, you will need to use the Rockbox database to be able to browse the music in Rockbox.  See the chapter of the Rockbox Manual entitled, "Browsing and Playing."

gotcha - i did the godd old drag and drop method, but i get no track listing through the theme or the album art...

Also and this drives me crazy, I have a mac and any folder that begins with a "." is invisible

so how do I get things into the .rockbox folder on a mac...

I have to use a PC to do all this at work...

firgured out how to view hidden files in os x

in terminal:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

Album art is not (yet) a feature supported in Rockbox.  To use album art, you must patch and compile Rockbox with the unofficial album art patch, or use a build that contains that patch.  you can find such builds in the 'unsupported builds' forum.
