what is this?? apple_sw_5g_rcsc.bin is it something else i need to download?
Llorean:
It's another file you're supposed to extract. Read the instructions more carefully, it's created in one of the steps, immediately after the ipod_fw -o apple_os.bin -e 0 bootpartition.bin step.

If you have a "virgin" copy of your bootpartition.bin file, you can simply rewrite that to the iPod and start over. What do you need the sysinfo file for?
