another ipod5g help (no menu)
« on: November 28, 2006, 08:36:56 PM »
Yeah i know you guys are probably sick and tired of helping people fix their ipods and getting rockbox to work.  Anyways... I'd appreciate it if you took time to help me out here.

After I complete the instalation process (was able to get to step 2.4 http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-ipodvideo/rockbox-buildch2.html#x4-60002 ) then when I disconnected my ipod from the computer I think i ran into an error.  This is what happened
Rockbox loaded up
Saw the Rockbox image
Then this was displayed
Quote
*Calenders
*Contacts
*Notes
*Photos
*WebClass
*x rockbox
(note, the webclass is just a folder i created for transfering data)

So it's just what i see in the explorer in windows IE.  There's no File browser mode to do more things.

Any help?

What do you mean "no filebrowser mode"? I thought you just admitted it's exactly what you see in windows explorer... also known as a file browser. Have you then read the portion of the manual on how to use Rockbox? You are in it, and everything has succeeded.
