iPod Video 5G with 1.2 firmware - what's the deal?

Is anyone using Rockbox happily on a 5G (30gb or 60gb) video iPod with the 1.2 (5.5G) Apple firmware? I upgraded to the 1.2 Apple firmware and instantly had some problems with Rockbox freezing occasionally when I tried to skip between tracks on certain albums, but I'm only now getting around to downgrading to 1.1.2 to see if that's any better...

Is anyone using it successfully with the 1.2 Apple firmware? Would anyone recommend 1.2, or alternatively to stick with 1.1.2?

Mine is an iPod video 60gb firmware1.2.
I Don't have this problem you mentioned.
My problem is only the "skips" if I use system equalizer, but is normal.
