IHP 120 - colour screen possible?

Hi,

I own an IHP 120 (rockboxed since Nov 2005) and enjoy the possibilities every day. The "only" (how often have I claimed this before : optical recording, jpegs, backdrops,...) thing I miss is COLOUR.

As rockbox now supports jpeg viewer and bitmap backdrops I started to ask myself if it was possible to replace the monochrome screen with a colour screen. I searched the archieve an forum for this topic maybe now there's another answer than NO WAY.

If this is the case it's not to bad. But I just had to ask!

Pretty much the only way would be to replace it with a H3xx device.

Would it be possible/feasible to rip the optical ports out of an iHP and put them into a H300?

Try doing this if you have both an H100 and an H300 and you'll end up with two wasted players 100% sure! ;)
