IPL and My Itunes Library. HELP!

(1/1)

jimarib:
Ok, after installing IPL (The one with the graphical interface) my iTunes library doesn't show up in Apple OS, it just tells me a whole lotta space is taken up. 1.8gb. When I boot into Rockbox the F00 folders are there and all, but in Apple OS it doesn't show my Library at all, everything is blank, playlists, no artist etc. Any ideas?

Llorean:
A) We do not support iPL. It's not our software, go ask the writers of it.
B) You've not mentioned what iPod you have. My guess would be Nano, in which case, you didn't do the proper installation process for Nanos version 1.2 and later.

jimarib:
Oh yeah I read the bit on no support, but Im not gonna sue or anything just need some friendly advice. I have a Nano, firmware 1.3 and am sure I have followed the tutorial correctly, and am just asking if anyone else has had this problem and/or have fixed it. I AM willing to go back to the *sigh* normal bootloader which doesn't like to detect my Menu pressing and takes 3-4 reboots to get to normal firmware. Sorry for the inconvience.

Llorean:
By "don't support" I don't mean "we do not accept liability for it" I mean "It's not our job. That's like calling Microsoft and asking them why MacOS doesn't work. They didn't write the software, and have no responsibility for it, even if you are trying to install it on a computer that was originally running windows."

Simply put, the problem you're having relates to the bootpartition of the device, and if you've installed software in that partition not provided by us (which you have) you're most likely to find help with that software from those who created it, or at a location dedicated to that software.
