quick question about X5
« on: November 23, 2006, 06:28:27 PM »
Hello there,

I'd just like to know how you make Rockbox output a line-out signal so I can connect my DAP to a Hi-Fi.  Thanks in advance.

I believe you simply adjust the volume to 0db, which is equivalent to a line-out signal.  Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.   ;)

Plug in the subpack and use the line out connector. :)

Adjusting the volume to 0db and using the headphone output as suggested above will also work. Note that some people claim the line out has a 'bass roll-off' that the headphone output doesn't show, I don't notice much of a difference. I think it's possible that the headphone bass output is boosted a little and that's what people are hearing.
