Important things to know about RB on an US iRiver H320

Hi
I'm totally new to Rockbox and want to install it on my iRiver H320. Are there any problems i could have with my the US version like it is on the original Firmware?
What i have to do to install rock box and how to install plugins? i think the page is a little bit to hard to understand for me cause im from germany :P
is it possible to boot with original firmwarewhen i installed RB? with the iriver H120 you have to press play and rec but my H320 don't has a button like that :)

ok but:
"Supported Iriver firmware versions currently include 1.28K, 1.28EU, 1.28J, 1.29K, 1.29J and 1.30EU. "
doeas that mean that rockbox is only for these versions? because when i wnat to download the iriver firmware from iriver.com there is a warning that the firmware DOES NOT work on iRivers from the US and beside that is a link for the US firmware at this is the version 1.04 Oo
