aac sample rate iriver h1xx

Does anyone have trouble playing aac normaly with a sample rate of 48kHz? All my 48 aac play like if there too slow. I also know that my 48 aac play well anywhere else.

I know that there`s a similar bug that have been reported in the tracker but it was a long time ago(last march). I would realy like to know if theres other people with the same problem or with any related infos.

The problem I had then with an increased pitch(to overcome the slow sounding aac) is resolved.

I just thought that posting a new topic would help me find information on my sample rate problem....anyhow does  anyone with a h120 or h140 (160,180) can replicate the bug?

I had a look at the code, and it should pass along the frequency information, so it appears to be a problem in the metadata reader. Maybe the current implementation is too simple...

I created a couple of test files, and they seem to work fine, but searching on the subject told that yes, it works with that particular encoder. So it looks like we'll need to improve on how the frequency is read. Shouldn't be too hard to fix, I think...

A fix for this has been committed. Please test, especially files w/ sample rates >44.1kHz. I can verify that sample rates <44.1kHz play back normally now.

I tested my 48kHz and they work perfectly. Ill let you know guys if I face any problems with different sample rates.
