iPod Nano + FLAC

(1/1)

Hi,

I'm a complete newbie here and I'm sorry if this is something that's already been discussed in another topic.

I just successfully installed the Rockbox software on my iPod Nano, and right now I'm clueless as to what to do beyond this. The main reason I installed Rockbox was so I can play FLAC files on my iPod.

I prefer to use Anapod Explorer instead of iTunes to transfer my music and manage my playlists. I tried loading some FLAC files onto my iPod using the Anapod software, and I noticed it dumps them into the "data files" folder where my iPod is located.

I tried accessing the data files through Rockbox, but it didn't do anything. So at this point I'm totally clueless what to do from this point on — how to play files, or do anything... :-[

Ok, I'm probably just being stupid here, but any info would be greatly appreciated. :)

Take a look at the 'Browsing and Playing' chapter of the Rockbox Manual.

Thanks.

But nevermind, I got it figured out now. I was interpreting some of the settings in the interface incorrectly. :-\

AlexP:
Rockbox works well, why not just try it?  There is dual-boot and you can uninstall.
