Last.fm logging problem
« on: November 16, 2006, 05:40:30 PM »
I still have the problem that's described at this bug. The bug has been closed, though, claiming to have been fixed. I still experience it on my iriver H320 with the daily build.

Should I request the bug to be reopened, or can't anyone reproduce this bug anymore? I see that this recent custom iPod build has patched it, so I would think that the bug is still there. I can't find any stand-alone patch for it, though, and searching the forums didn't turn up anything.

Do you have "resume on startup" turned on?
(from the tracker:)

doesn't appear to work when you have resume on startup turned on.

i'm still testing it a bit, but i was able to reproduce the missing first track with the audioscrobbler/last.fm patch (5166).

in fact, even if i restart that first song manually from the beginning, it still doesn't show up in the .scrobbler.log

Okay, after extensive testing, I've found out that it definitely doesn't log the first song in a playlist even with "Resume on startup" disabled. Any other factors that could cause this?

I updated the bug on flyspray (http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/5495) with a bit more information at the weekend.
I haven't yet been able to find a fix.
