No.  We can't and don't estimate release dates or dates when features will be added.

Not to mention, I don't think anyone's file a feature request for the latter feature. Unless I missed it when looking just now (I could be, I'm good at overlooking things).

Usually things like that get added by the people who want them, not the core devs, anyway.
