iPod 60gb - Please, help!
« on: November 13, 2006, 07:09:38 AM »

The playback stops for a moment when pcm become 0 and after that pcm buffer fills little bit and the story repeats.
when EQ is off pcm filling faster than empying.
pcm became 0 faster if I scroll through folders or changing volume
How can I solve this problem?
For examlpe - on my friends Nano final parameter of pcm is higher than mine (about 1,2kk) I don't know what to do(
Sorry for bad english  :-\

We can't possibly need any more topics on this question. Read the other posts, read the manual, read the FAQ (Click here)

It's a known problem due to the development status of the rockbox port on iPods.

If you can compile your own firmware, then try this patch (Link)

You obviously don't understand what compiling means. Read this thread (link) and do further forum searches on 'ipod, playback, skipping, glitchy' to educate yourself on the actual problem.

Have you ever heard the joke where the patient says to the doctor, "Doc, it hurts when I move my arm like this" and the doctor says, "well, don't move your arm like that"?

Assuming you're using an iPod Video, then use Hardware EQ instead of software EQ.  Don't scroll through folders quickly if you're playing back music.

If you're using an iPod Color or iPod Photo, then download this unsupported build that has CPU frequency scaling disabled: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=6357.0

Make sure that you are using a WPS without peakmeters.  (Try the iCatcher theme.)

Maybe it will be ok with it.

We've told you the solutions that are available now. There is no magic perfect/ideal solution. If there were, the problem would be gone, now wouldn't it?

It is unnecessary to ask again and again "Can anybody help me with this?" when the thread already exists. If someone can, they will, if they won't, be patient. Do not just repost the same request.
