Ipod Video screen upgrade
« on: November 10, 2006, 08:07:19 PM »
There are people on eBay who sell the newer brighter Ipod screens that the Ipod Video got in the September refresh.  Now people seem to get results using the Apple firmware, but my question is would one see any benefit from installing one in an Ipod that's strictly Rockbox only, and only used for audio playback.  Would the Rockbox screen be any brighter?  Would battery life improve at all.

I ask because I'm planning to do a battery upgrade, and wondered if it'd be worth doing this at the same time.
