"Genres" in TC show up as (13)/(17)...

(1/2) > >>

Atheistic Freedom:
When they're supposed to be 'Pop' and 'Rock.'

I checked the ID3 info, and it shows the same thing.

I used the itdb2tc.exe program, and everything works fine, but in ID3 info,it still shows 13/17.

The only thing all these mis-genre'd tags have in common is that they were converted from FLAC from the latest Foobar2000.

TIA.

soap:
I don't know about the 0.9 series of Foobar2000, but 0.8.3 defaults to writing ID3v1 and APE tags.  Are you sure you have ID3v2 genre tags?

Atheistic Freedom:
Well, h/o: No matter what version of Foobar I try (0.9.2 and 0.9.4.1) to convert, it happens anyway.  I even wiped out the tags to no avail.  Somehow, one of the Beatles albums comes through clean, but I don't see how.

iTunes and Windows Explorer reads it fine, but idk...maybe TC is flawed?

EDIT: Alright, I think I finally fixed it.  My bad, it seemed to have been a problem on iTunes.  Thanks.

Llorean:
A) Please don't use abbreviations, we've covered this.

B) Are they ID3v1 or v2 tags on it? ID3v1 uses a genre list with numeric indices, I believe. There might be something going on with that.

Atheistic Freedom:
To totally clarify, I got it now: I simply remove all tags on the files in Foobar2000, then convert it, then label everything in iTunes.  A hassle, but now it all works.

And yes, Llorean, my bad on the abbreviations.  Things slip people's minds every now and then.  We aren't robots.  ;)
