You don't by any chance have the hold button on, do you?

No. That would have been funny though. I am reinstalling everything right now. I'll let you know how it goes.

The H10 by default has the Music folder set as hidden, which explains why it isn't shown when you start Rockbox. Try holding <- to get to the quickscreen, then pressing down repeatedly until it says 'All' at the bottom of the screen. Now press <- again to exit the quickscreen and you should see the Music folder.

Well, I reloaded the Rockbox software and most seems to be fine right now. I say most because I have a bizarre occurence happen when I click on an MP3 and actually get into it. The sound cuts in and out. Now if I hit the back key, it plays fine. Hmmm.

I'm playing around with the settings right now. Any recommendations for themes, sound, and general settings, feel free to let me know what you've found that you like. Personally I think the voice setting is a little annoying. Otherwise, I'm really digging this right now. The sound is sweet and it is great to have this alternative to Iriver firmware.
Thanks for all of your help.

This is because the default WPS (while playing screen) in Rockbox has peakmeters on it which consume more CPU power than the H10 can handle at the moment. Try using a different WPS which doesn't have peakmeters (eg iCatcher)

did exactly as you said Barry and it works fantastically.

Now... if we could get pdf's, chm's, FM, and video working
on this unit. Heck, I'm not asking for much huh?
