multiple listings for podcast in album folder

Hi all,

Recently I noticed I had double entries on some podcasts and then found a bug report which said it was fixed in a more recent build. I upgraded to the most recent build (11-06-06) at the time. Now, I've got TRIPLE listings in some directories and some podcasts aren't even showig up.

Did I need to completely delete the tag cache and rebuild it to get only a single listing?

Using:
Apple Ipod Nano 1st Gen.
Rockbox CVS-061106
Amarok 1.4.3 for manually uploading songs/podcasts to device

Yes, you should try that.

Deleting all the tagcache files cleared up the multiple listing issue I had, however, not the "missing" podcasts. When I check the tags on the missing ones they're not podcast, but something else or not there, so I'm wondering if either my Amarok is screwing up, or they haven't been listed properly by their authors?

The second one.  Most podcasters don't tag their shows as "podcast".  Most of the good ones do.

I've had (some) success in the past asking the hosts to set the genre to Podcast.

The dean of the World's largest podcast network, Leo LaPorte, certainly does! And one of his podcasts was one of the ones I had a problem with.   ;D

In any event, its working now and I know to keep an eye on the Tags in case something doesn't show up quite right.
