ipod 5th gen HELP PLEASE!

i was just wondering how to get back to rockbox after changing bac 2 original firmware

i read the faq about changing back when i do it it clicks and turns off until i let go of menu and select wats happhening help please

To return from the Apple firmware to Rockbox, press and hold the Menu and Select buttons. Release the buttons when the player restarts.

I Tried to do that but after i release it it reboots and goes back to apple firmware do i have to do something else in the code to get it to work again ?
