Help! White Screen, Ipod

Hey, I changed themes in rockbox, and I'm not sure precisely what happened, but after the load screen it just goes to a pure white main menu.  The pod is working, as I can blunder around and load plugins and crap (and those context menus are visible.)  It seems like rockbox always used to drop the themes I wanted every time I plugged into a computer, but now that I want it to restore the default, it won't.    Can anyone help?

You've probably ended up with the foreground and background colours the same - it is a rite of passage ...

There is a restore defaults startup key sequence (well there is for the iRivers but I expect it is Rockbox generic) but I don't know what it is for an iPod. I'm sure it is in the manual or Wiki though.

Engaging the hold button while rebooting will return iPods to their default settings.

How come this happens at all?  I see validation already in gui/color_picker.c that works with settings_menu.c and looks like it is supposed to prevent the user selecting the same fg color and bg color.  Weird, no?

While the validation is there, it's still possible for them to be set as identical via a config file I believe.

I think the cause for my doing it was slightly more subtle than that - the theme CFG file I loaded only had the background colour defined, my foreground was the same (or the other way round, but no matter).  Loading the Theme gave me a blank screen.

Also, and I haven't checked the code, I suspect that it is possible to get two colours that are very similar - but not the same, so pass the safety check but are effectively indestinguishable.
