Rockdoom crashing on startup

First of all I'd like to say how impressed I am with Rockbox. It's given my ageing Iriver H120 a new lease of life.

However, I'm having problems however with the Doom plugin. I've followed the instructions, copying rockdoom.wad and doom1.wad into the \games\doom\ directory. I've disabled all voice options. The problem is that when I start the Doom plugin, the machine invariably crashes halfway through loading, requiring a press of the reset button to get it working again. This usually happens at one of the following points in loading:

Z_Malloc: Failure trying to ...
W_Get Num For Name: CRBRICK ...
R_LoadTrigTables: Invalid ...

I've tried running it with the Freedoom doom2.wad as well, with the same result.

I'm sure I'm being stupid and there's an obvious answer. Does anyone have any ideas?

umm im pretty sure it is the same thing as the ipod vid. i had the same prob. but when i got to the freedoom it worked so unfortunately for you it doesnt work

It looks like you are using a wrong version maybe, download another one...
