Nano Rockbox & Update new apple-firmware
« on: November 07, 2006, 04:09:39 AM »
Is it possible to update the apple firmware without deinstalling Rockbox?
Sorry for asking, but I couldn't find an answer in the manual :)

Anytime that you update the apple firmware, it rewrites over the bootloader.  All that is required to install rockbox again is to reinstall the bootloader.  Everything else should be fine though.

If that is what you meant by your question, then the answer is "No".

And for the record, the word is uninstallation.  ;)
