iPod: going back to rockbox from "OK to disconnect" without unplugging

I'm afraid I already know the answer, but is there a way (some combination of buttons to press) to get back to the rockbox interface on an iPod (nano) when the iPod is plugged in the USB port and has just been "ejected"?
When plugging in an iPod while rockbox is running, one can press 'menu' to prevent it from going into "USB mode". What I'd like is something similar for the "OK to disconnect" screen, so I can play music while the unit is still charging its battery, without having to unplug and reboot it first.

Sadly, no.  When you're plugged in and in USB mode, you're not running Rockbox, you're actually running Apple's firmware.  So, until we have Rockbox USB mode, this is impossible.
