I think there is a limitation of 256 songs.
Maybe a more expensive car radio does work.

Most more expensive decks use the ipod connection devices. The ideal route to go atm IMO is to use the line out and connect it via rcas.

It didn't work at all. The ipod just kept spinning, but nothing happened.
I waited for about half an hour... and then decided that probably it will not work. ::)
