Any chance that Rockbox will support 48kHz in future builds?

48kHz is resampled to 44.1kHz on the H1xx players.

I'm not sure why this would cause your player to "freeze." If the combination of aac+pitch+resample is not fast enough you should at worst have studdering playback, but not a freeze.

I resample a 48kHz song to 44kHzjust just to see if it would change something and it did. The 44kHz was playing just like it should compared to the 48kHz that was still playing too slow.

Normaly would rockbox be able to play my 48kHz aac without altering the sound?

I'm tempted to reexport all my aac to 44kHz. Is there anything I can to to avoid this...It's just that this process (reexporting) will be very long and boring :(...I know I sound pretty lazy  ;)

On H100 series Rockbox should resample 48 kHz files to 44.1 kHz during playback (the DAC supports sample rates up to 44.1 kHz) and it should play normally.

Maybe there is a bug in Rockbox. Please test whether 44.1 kHz AAC files play well in Rockbox and whether the 48 kHz files play well in other players (foobar2000 etc.) and eventually fill a bug report on the tracker.

The 44kHz play well in Rockbox not the 48 one.

I tryed the same song in 44kHz and 48kHz sample rates and they play both well everywhere(Foobar200, Itunes...)

Is Rockbox correctly recognizing the files as 48kHz? If you don't display frequency on your wps, check the "ID3 Info" screen (from the wps press and hold the joystick, then select "Show ID3 Info").
