So I am thinking about creating a wps...

In fact I started working on it. IT IS A WORK IN PROGRESS (that way I can tell about it here and you can post your opinions and suggestions, because once it is finished you can't do that! Someone told me) You can try this beta version from: http://wps.abondar.de/?name=jp&ca=2&bd=2&sort=1&pp=10
[It is not yet at the gallery because it is not finished]

I think this is the best wps for the Nano using Cover Art (not because I did it, but I was inspired by a fantastic wps for Iriver H3xx created by Ashen). I didn't liked the others at the Gallery so I had to learn about wps making.

*sigh* The other post was mostly fine. As I tried to explain to you. Discussion of completed WPSes IS ALLOWED, all I stated was that I didn't really see the point in it.

But we do strongly request that you actually bother to put your WPS in the WPS gallery. That was my primary problem, our forums don't exist for you to advertise your offsite stuff. They're the official Rockbox forums, and we have the Official WPS Gallery for organizing them so our users can find them.

I think is more the other way, I am "advertising" Rockbox for the Nano at ipodwizard.net and misticriver by sharing this wps and showing how good rockbox can look on their players!!
I don't know why I even considered sharing my wps with others... maybe because others shared theirs.
The first time I saw wps were at misticriver forums.Not at the gallery here.
The first time I even heard of Rockbox was there!! So if we apply your rule to misticriver they should have never created a forum for rockbox because THIS IS THE OFFICIAL Rockbox forum. (!that is what I call an open project!)
I shared mine there but also thought "Well maybe I should announce it at rockbox forum.." it made sense then. But now it seems it must be either here or other places. Sorry, sorry, sorry.  Never again will I ever share any wps here.

Sorry, that came out wrong. I didn't mean it as "we don't like other sites" or anything. But for a user, it's helpful if things are in one place.

We have an official WPS gallery, and it's very frustrating when WPSes are scattered over many many places, rather than in the official place, which was also the first place to exist for them.

I had the sanme discussion at misticriver forums because I recomended people to put theirs at wps.abondar.de as a central point.
Someone came and said there was the Rockbox official gallery for that (maybe it was you :) ) I replied that wps.abondar.de offered a simplier way to upload and also you have statistics and can search for WPSes, and also it looks better (sorry). Check it it is a nice place.
That doesn't mean use that as an exclusive place.The more places they put it the better for all. That is why mine is there, also at misticriver forums, ipodwizard.net and will be at the gallery here soon...
