SOLVED - Rockbox restores the default settings after charging via usb!

I've just installed rockbox to my apple nano, and everything went fine and I were happy for a while, untill rockbox began to clear all my settings, and restoring the default values. This happens sometimes when I have charged the ipod via the usb, and have disconnected.

Sometimes when I disconnect the ipod, it also refuses to respond, and requires a reboot, and then everything is normal again.

So, why is this happening? Am I doing something wrong or am I supposed to live with this problem? ???

If you start the ipod with the hold button engaged, it will clear your settings.  So, if you have the hold button engaged when you disconnect from USB and the player restarts, that will clear the settings.  The solution, of course, is to make sure that you do not have the hold button on when you connect via USB.

Also, if you don't at least shut down once by holding the play button, your settings don't save.

Thanks for good feedback! I am not shure if the hold-button was engaged, so i guess that might have been the problem. From now on, I am going to make shure it is not engaged!
