An alternative "Reset" key combination?
« on: November 01, 2006, 01:08:05 AM »

Recently, I've been feeling that since Rockbox freezes very often on both of my players (iRiver H140 and H320), it would be nice if Rockbox had an alternative "reset" key combination and makes a restart a lot easier.

The reset button is a hardware feature. Not an aspect of the software.

Huh? And the reset button is too hard to use? Keep a paperclip or something similar in your pocket whereever you go. Thus, you always have something to press the reset button with.

Personally, I have a normal needle stuck through that small label in the back of the iriver "etui". That way, I always have something to reset if need be and it's handy. Might be a problem on flights, but there you can revert to a hairpin again...
